Hi Everyone,

This is my first time posting on this forum, though have I have been reading previous posts for a while now.

My Ovations:
-1657 Anniversary
-1624 Country Artist
-Elite Bass.

Does anyone know someone in the Bay Area (Oakland, CA) that works on Ovations? The action on my 1657 seems a bit high and I would like someone to look at it. I emailed ovation support last year and they told me that anyone could work on them, but I find that hard to believe.

Thanks,

John

It's true. Any music store should have someone there who can adjust the neck or lower the saddle. On Ovations it's even easier to lower the saddle than on most guitars because they usually have shims that can be removed. You could even do it yourself. If you do a search (either here or on google) you will find tutorials showing you how. I'm pretty sure there are some on youtube too.
