lol. nice. i didn't follow any of those steps, and i don't have hangover which is weird and disappointing. And more disappointing was fact that i couldn't get even a bit drunk yesterday, and i did what i could. Ehh. :/

I once asked my doctor for "the cure" and he replied abstain, of course, however if you imbibe, two aspirin, and a shower as hot as you can stand it, then as cold as you can stand it gets the blood flowing quicker and speeds recovery...I'm off to test the theory

Time is the only cure.

Try crawling into the bathtub and let a warm gentle shower run on your head. Remember to take off your clothes, if you can.

Well, you can't cure a hangover, per se, but you can speed the process up if you're willing to experience a short amount of discomfort.

Presuming you didn't do any of the 'smart' things like alternate liquor and water drinks all night, take some B12 before bed, etc....and you got up this morning with a boiling acid stomach, eyes that are sensitive to both light AND sound, and all the regular pains.

Here is the quick way through the pain.

You know you will begin to feel better once you have that bad stuff out of your system one way or the other. So....

Stand in front of the toilet with your pants at your ankles and stick one finger down your throat and another up your anus.

If this doesn't work, switch fingers.

Moderation works well! Or just not drinking at all...my choice but your milage may vary...I do miss Mexician food w/o beer...but I have adapted...
As for your question, a B/C powder and a Coke always worked great from what I remember...

Yeah Mike... Football is boring without beer, too!
So is fishing! (Wait! Fishing is boring WITH beer! That is why you drink...)

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day...
Teach a man to fish and he'll sit in a boat all day drinking beer!

I had heard that breathing oxygen, from the mask type, would really speed the recovery. Anyone else heard that?

Apparently it works. Had a business associate who was going to get rich selling small cans of O2 with a built in mask for sports events and hangover cures.

Sounded like a good idea, but didn't catch on for unknown reasons.

Actually, when I was lifeguard and came to work feeling a little unsteady from the night before, I'd take a couple of wiffs of O2. It really does make you feel better.

When I used to run our Graphics Dept., we had two O2 respirators in our Silkscreen Shop. On those nightmare incidents that was working a 38-hour day, I'd take a "hit" off it every half-hour or so during the 2am - 6am stretch (that was until UpperManagement pitched a fit about the O2 bottles getting replentished innordinately).

Breckinridge, CO has a REAL cool bar that serves oxygen & really good martinis . . .
