Location: Reno, NV | I notice on my last string change that my saddle is starting to get some fairly sized grooves under all the strings. Im hoping that it doesn't get much worse, but if it does, what are the options? Can you just "plug and play" a new saddle? Only available from the factory? Is this something I should be concerned with? and why did it happen? Does Ovation not use hard enough material for their saddles? |

Location: west | well one thing is if you do any string bending it can wear the saddle.. might be other reasons that others here can expound upon,.. |

Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Put a shim underneath saddle , eventually sand off top of saddle , and you`re back in business..

the bridge must originally be set over the piezo's in the aluminium channel and injected with a silicone glue(white) to set it in place.
If the strings wear thru the delrin bridge you'll see the white silicone.
I'm going to consider modifying a "PQ-9016-00 - Tusq Acoustic Saddle Adjustable Gibson" to work on my Ovation, sometime down the road...
