OK ... I have been watching sales on these two guitars, but I have absolutely no knowledge about how these two models compare. I know there are a lot of knowledgeable people on this board who can give some good input on this. So ... which one is best?

Both great guitars

Ultra Kaman 11 probably more versatile than Viper.
I have both and I love em!!
Both so much underrated, overlooked and different as MB says.
The legacy lives, thanks Bill

I have both as well. I agree with Aussie, Ukii, then Viper.

Deacon/Breadwinner(LTD is preferred), U...; ah, it doesn't matter what's after that!

Blah, Blah, Blah, etc., I am a bigshot blowhard with too many guitars, none of which are anything special, and I probably can't even play..

Oddly enough, I'm currently assembling parts to build a unique Ovation electric. Viper body, UKII p/u's, Deacon neck......

Depends on the music...UKII is definitely for the heavier rock/metal while Viper falls into the Tele/Strat camp.

Get both!

Thanks for the info. I don't really do heavy metal music, so I may like the Viper better. Price will also be a deciding factor.

Vipers (other than the Viper III) generally seem to be more readily available and more reasonably priced than the UKii.
