Tonight on NBC Nightly News there is an interview with Glen and his wife from the Alzheimer facility he is in.

I saw the video this morning. It will tear your heart out as only a well-crafted piece of music can. I was so at a loss for words, that I couldn't even post it here. It is simultaneously loving, poignant, and tragic.

But he will live on in our memory as the one first showed us what can be done on a guitar and then inspired us to go out and try to do it ourselves. Oh yes. There is also the fact that he was playing an Ovation which enamored many of us to those round backed guitars to the extent that eventually we went out and got our own. The rest is history.
