| Hi,
I have an Ovation 2000 Collector's edition, and I was wondering if the strap buttons on this guitar are designed to work with any of the major strap lock systems out there.
Thanks!

But Ovation uses a proprietary bolt and "molly" system, not those big screws.
Sweetwater has them HERE
I do not believe that you can just buy the strap pieces... You have to buy the whole thing.

| Hi Arthur,
Thanks for the response!
Just to clarify, are you saying that I won't need to replace the strap buttons on the guitar to use this system?
Thanks,

So you would use the Dunlop strap-end thingies.
I was just saying that if you were to replace the strap buttons you would not use those screws.

You'll need to buy the full system (including buttons) because that'd how they come, but you'll only need to use the ends that go on the strap as your Ovation came stock with the buttons.
