Hello everybody, nice to be part of this fan club
I own 2 ovations, a legend 1866 12 strings, and a 1869 custom legend 6 strings, and very happy with them.I recently bought the 3rd one a 1615 pacemaker 12 strings and I found the sound when plugged in way too bright. Compared to my other 12 strings 1866 it sounds extremely metallic and bright, with very little or no low end.
Do you guys think there's a problem with the pickup? Or maybe with the preamp? Or is this really the sound of the Pacemaker?
Thanks
Alberto

Alberto, I'm not a fan of the Pacemaker sound. You're description pretty much sums up my experiences. I'll bet it's just the Pacemaker

Alberto, I was going to grant you access and accidentally banned you. Hang tight, we'll get it fixed.

Thank you all, I'll post the question there... I really hope it's not the sound of the pacemaker, otherwise either I will upgrade pickup and preamp (If possible) or sell it....
Thanks again
Alberto
