Time-Life Midnight Special Collectors Edition.

Just watching the commercial for this I saw:

Nancy Wilson playing an original slothead

Glen Campbell playing a 12 String Deacon

Doobie Brothers, America, etc, etc,

Can't remember them all but at least 1/2 of the acts shown had Ovations.

The glory days. Back when the obsession with Ovations was eating me alive. I could never forget my first. She was all I was anticipating and more. There was some awkwardness getting used to her shape but soon we fit together like we were made for each other. The sounds she made were all over the map until I learned the places she preferred my hands to be. She was the first I fretted over constantly until I got her down. I don't remember when we eventually broke up and went separate ways. It was during my impulsive youth when commitment was a word in a foreign language. Others followed that were equally satisfying but no matter which one I was currently paired with there was always another I was lusting for.

Once I saw Nancy Wilson's name in the first post, I didn't realize Dave was talking about guitars in the second one.
