Hello all, new member here with a question. I have a 6751 12-string, and I'm wondering what is needed to use this guitar as a 6-string? Primarily I'm wondering about the nut and the saddle. If I can obtain a 6-string nut and saddle, would this be an easy switch? I don't know if those pieces are "floating" ie held in place by string tension, or if they're actually attached.

Any suggestions, and if so, should I pursue any specific 6-string nut/saddle or would any Ovation 6-string pieces do? The guitar has the original factory setup if that makes any difference. I would settle for just using the existing pieces except that the strings are shifted offcenter slightly :)

Thanks in advance.

(alternatively... would anyone be interested in buying this guitar? its monetary value in the local market is very low, as its top has a dry air crack, and the only real usage I can get out of it would be as a backup 6-string guitar)
