Hi!

The current (Korean) Elite T series isn't available in lefty, so I'd like to buy a used left-handed USA Elite T. I don't mind which submodel it is, 1778T would be mildly preferred.

It looks like southpawguitars has one in red, but I'd prefer black. Any hints on where else I might track one down?

Thanks!

Hi CJB,

Welcome aboard!

I'll keep an eye out for you, but with any luck, someone will come along and point you in the right direction for more immediate results.

In the meantime, give Al Pepiak a call. He has his thumbs in more Ovation pies than just about anyone else. Look for the Lost Art Vintage link on the Welcome Page and dial the number.

Good luck with your search. :)

Thanks very much, Patch. Al says he'll see what he can do; having other folks ask around would be great too. Much appreciated!

So far I've only been able to find evidence of one other lefty Elite T on the web (the one at southpaw, in red), which is a bit worrying. :)

Hm, not getting anywhere finding a black lefty Elite T so far. :/

If anyone has other suggestions on where to look, please let me know. Thanks!

- Chris.

Chris,

Ya just have to keep the ol' bloodhound nose to the ground: here, eBay, Craigslist and web git shops.

Good luck to ya!

cjb, why don't you make southpaws an offer on one of theirs? In this depressed economy they may take less than what they are asking.

Hi FlySig,

I'm probably being picky, but I was really after a black six-string -- they have a red six-string and a black twelve-string. :)

A happy ending -- I set up an eBay search alert for a lefty 1778T when I made this post four years ago, and today the alert went off for the first time and I bought it. Hope it's worth the wait!
