| I haven't been on in a while, and I still owe you all some pictures of the refurbs/reissues but I wanted to say thank you to whoever paid for the neck reset on the 1985-x which was covered by someone here.
Thank You!!
Char is out of the hospital, we took a few days away while my son and the kids finished repairing the floors here and did some painting... and we currently are working only off of the laptops... and the computers in the home are not set back up.
Thanks for all the well wishes and e-cards for Char.. she's doing much better, and her heart function is up, and the doctors feel they can manage her recovery with meds, from this point forward and avoid surgery.
Her diagnosis is still the same, but her heart function is up to over 40%..
one of the refurbs... the shiny 12 arrived with a broken brace (actually the x-brace is split along the grain just above where it glues to the top)... but John has sent me a shipping label, and it is going back up... looks great, and sounds great, but I noticed a buzzing last night while playing and found the split brace, just inside the soundhole on the treble side.
they'll fix it up quickly enough..
anyway.. thanks to all!! and a special thanks to the contributor or contributors who covered the repairs on the Gatlin custom.
