Hi Everyone,

My name is John and even though I became a member of the OFC in December 2004 I could not post because the site could not be navigated. I am blind and use a screen reader. The XP professional operating system and my old screen reading program did not allow me to even read any posts. Now with a new computer and updated operating system and a new screen reading program I am at least able to now post and navigate the site to some extent. Still it's not perfect but will have to do. I am totally impressed with the knowledge of the members and their love for Ovation. I am heartbroken that the NH factory is closing and the high quality and beautifully sounding instruments will no longer be produced. I wish all the artisans and designers and workers all the best and hope they find employment making instruments again. I hope to get to know the OFC members and ask questions as they arise.

I just missed a 1996 Collector Series from Bruce's War in Texas. Probably missed it by a few hours. If any member has one in burgundy in mint condition and would be ready to part with it I am ready to buy depending on price. Just PM me and I will respond asap. Any opinions on the build quality and sound of this guitar? Also any opinions on the 2001 collector Series? Would love to hear them and increase my knowledge of Ovations.

Thanks for reading and sorry for the long post.

John
