Location: Michigan | look at what they state about where and by whom these guitars are hand crafted at , look under the pro custom series box on the right.
i would like to hear what some of the employees or ex employees have to say about some of the new advertising that fender is sending out about where these are being made.
am i just a bit behind on the factory closing down soon or is ovation adamas and their employees the only ones going away?
i received this e-mail today. GWB

Location: Taxed To Death State | One of the local guys around town in New Hartford posted some pics on Facebook of himself binding the top on the very last guitar being built in New Hartford. I gotta see if can find it and post it. Wonder who is the lucky but unlucky owner. |

Location: south east Michigan | Let's engage in some reckless and irresponsible speculation.
We hoped & trusted Fender's word that they respected the Ovation & Guild brands and had plans for them.
They advertised the Mothership as an asset, made it the home of the custom shop, built an "updated" Ovation, and made some damn fine Guilds.
Then, suddenly, they blow it all up.
.
Maybe... just maybe... Fender's financial situation has become so bad, so quick, that as a matter of surviving another quarter, they throw the Mothership into the trash bin.
