If it were me, I'd print up a pile of flyers and take them to all the pawn shops
and music shops anywhere in the remote vicinity.
I would think that the thief would try to go a bit out of the areas of Orlando that are
close to him.
Of course criminals aren't always the brightest bulbs in the bunch.
Of course it's a shame I'm not able to come down there and give you some special
old-style Po-Leece help with your ex son-in law.
I really do hope the best and you get your guitar back.
I can pretty much guarantee it is going to end up in a pawn shop.
The more flyers you get out to the most shops really will help though. |

Ref: stupid criminals
We had a great Mexican restaurant that had been around for generations.
A local boy breaks in at night to steal the cash register.
He gets the register and the $300 it held.
However, he cuts himself on some window glass and bleeds.
Because he watches CSI he figures his DNA will ID him. Of course the police have not reason to have his DNA on file.
So... he decides his only option is to burn the place down.
A friend knows he did it so he gives him $40 to keep his mouth shut.
As it should be... he is caught anyway.
For $300, twenty people will be out of work for months.
Steve... I hope your thief turns out to be just a bright. |

That includes a slimy ex-son-in-law who might have been looking for info and an opportunity to use his entry code to sneak in and grab something valuable. I'm just sayin'... with that possibility, why publicly alert them to what you are doing to try to catch them?

Location: Orlando, FL | I guess it depends on how smart the thief is. If he is doing research online this thread will come up. There's not a lot of info online about 1538s that doesn't come from the OFC. Even here there's only a few threads actually about 1538s.
Thanks to everyone for the good advise and suggestions. I'll let you know if there are any developments.
