So I just landed a USA made 1778 Elite T!

WOW does it sound good, I was expecting that based on threads posted here and reviews I have read, but am still amazed at how good it sounds.

It is in excellent shape, but I think the neck has been re-clear coated. It should be a satin finish, correct? It is more glossy than satin. The back and sides of the headstock is satin, but it appears that the neck itself has been re-done. You can see a difference in the sheen, and it gets more glossy just below the tuning machines.

Looking at mine, it is actually a gloss finish... I think.
Take one of those scrubby pads and rub it til it feels nice (that's what I do).

Unless you are going for "looks"
The scrubby will make it feel nice.
