| Hi All,
My name is Armand and I just signed up today for the Ovation Fan Club. I happened upon this site while online shopping for a used Ovation Custom Legend. I currently own a 1619 CL (sunburst) and 1115-4 Pacemaker (natural) but am in the market for a newer CL (natural) with a cutaway and the OP-50 preamp setup. However, after browsing the forum and reading all the posts, I thought I should join the Ovation Fan Club. Great to see there are folks out there who appreciate the sound and playability of the Ovation instruments. I have owned and played a lot of guitars and still think my CL has the best action of any six sting acoustic and my 12-string rings like no other. Thanks for making this site available to all the Ovation fans!

Location: Jet City | Welcome Mandy. That's one of the best gigging preamps for sure. It's a toss-up between that one and the Optima.
I've been toying with letting my Al DiMeola CL go. It has the Optima plus the famous 'boost' button Al's famous for.
Al signed the bowl once, a big ol' white-sharpie signature, but only part of the A remains. It's had lots of play time, but all over the fretboard, so there not too much wear on any individual frets and the rest is in showroom condition minus some pick marks.
But I've just been toying with the idea. There's a really nice parlor I've had my eye on.
