I visited Aussie James in Brisbane yesterday and he showed me the NAMM Special that's recently arrived. 

Wow!

The photos I've seen of it does it no justice at all. This thing is a technologically cutting edge thing of beauty!

The case had me drooling before the guitar was even revealed. 

Dont ask what it sounds like because the strings were, well, well past their use-by date. 

If it was mine I'd be reluctant to take I out of the house, let alone do gigs with it. 

 

Jim also generously loaned me his VXT for a second time. Last time I hardly touched it and didn't bond with it. 

Last night I gave it a solid 4 hour workout and I suddenly love it. 

I want one.

Location: south east Michigan		Aussie James is a hell-of-a-guy.
And very generous.
I look back with great fondness of our group of almost a motorcycle gang of scooters taking over Amelia Island for an afternoon.
And...
Of the time he asked me to facilitate the delivery of a VXT he bought here in the states. I received it and fell head over heels for it.
Typical James, he allowed it to go no further and remain here in the mitten state.
Since then, my son has taken up the guitar and has done quite will with it.
The VXT is the absolute envy of his group of guitar friends.
