PS my handle is twowheeldrummer because I'm more of a drummer than guitarist but guitar is my second passion so don't hold it against me LOL.I do own a legend lx 6756 12string which I'll post pics for.

I'd love to own an adamas 1598ME in ruby red but they always seem to go for to much on highfeebay Anyone own a 1769 custom legend al dimeola model I found a used one for 1099 that's got my attention today

It's from a good member on this board and it is the pinnacle of center hole guitars (sound, looks and feel) from Ovation. If you really like the 6591, go for it. We all have prejudices when it comes to guitars and sound. Only you can tell if you like the sound and feel ... and you're the only one that matters. Who knows, may this guitar is THE ONE. Think of it as a Balladeer or Legend with a Carbon Fiber Laminate top. Many other brands make Carbon Fiber guitars with center-holes. Rainsong, Blackbird, Emerald, Composite Acoustic... But the original Adamas design had "Adamas" or "Quintad" bracing... Like an Elite. So, if you believe that the Adamas design is revolutionary... Then a center-hole Adamas is a step backwards. But this may only be nit-picking. All that said, it would be nice if you could try it before you buy it. If it sounds good, go for it.
