So what is an Ovation LV or Larivee?. I've never heard of this model. Could someone enlighten me please.

That is an Ovation LX... And it is probably worth the asking price.
It looks like a 6778LX.

As to Larivee... Larivee is it's own guitar company not affiliated with Ovation.

Location: Utah		At the Buy it Now price this is a steal. It does look like a 6778LX. If you're interested in a mid bowl LX technology guitar this would be a price not to pass up.

That's the one. The guy was selling it for another person. When I questioned the seller he apparently contacted the owner who looked thru his records and immediately the price went up 400.00 BIN to 700.00 bin.

Location: Utah		Yup, OMA. A few years ago I passed up a nice condition 1537 in a local shop because I didn't know if it was worth the $450! By the time I got home and asked here (and received a barrage of JUST BUY IT replies), it was gone.
