Location: Bloomington, Indiana | I have owned an Adamas guitar for over twenty years. I immensely enjoy playing it.
I have yet to see another guitar player with one. I would like to talk to other owners.
How prevalent is this guitar?
The serial number is 1832-102. I think it was made in 1981. Am I correct? |

Here is a Serial Numbers List.... Click This
There is also a whole section of posts just about Adamas guitars HERE
As to "how prevalent is this guitar?"...
I have Two! And I cannot play.
But I have not encountered another person playing one in a bar or on a street corner.
The only other Adamii I have seen are in stores or at an OFC Gathering.
So exactly which model Adamas do you have.

Location: Bloomington, Indiana | The model is a 1687-8. Over twenty years, I only seem one Adamus in a store and I bought it. I understand that it is very popular in Europe mostly due to its usage by Marcel Dadi. The only comments I hear from music stores is that it is "cult" guitar or that they never heard of it.
Thanks for the response. I'll post a picture in a few days. |
