New here, I was thinking about selling an old Ovation Matrix Ive had for some time. Condition is good overall, but the action is EXTREMELY high at and around the 12th fret and below. The neck is straight, so I don't know whats up with it. Anyways, what would it be worth?

Any cracks in the finish? I figured I could get about $125 for mine in good to excellent condition. The action is quite low and I've never taken out a shim in the 30 years I've had it. I don't think I've seen one without cracks. Anyway, I figured mine wasn't worth selling. Besides, it was only one of two guitars my wife gave me 30 years apart.

I do believe there is one crack. I took it to get fixed at one time, and the guy told me it wasn't worth fixing, that it didn't reall affect the sound. I took out pretty much the whole bridge and the action is still WAY high. It may not be worth selling. Although someone may want it as a project
