The handle on the case for my shallow bowl Elite is attached by four rivets. Well one of those rivets is loose and I want to know how can I Pull the inside of the case so I can get in there to tighten up the loose rivet? Do I need to remove the inside of the case to tighten up the rivet?

Thanks for your help.

Good luck, Cee-ef'er. Those innards are fixed pretty tight. You might be more successful with some judicious use of epoxy, or JB-Weld.
The problem is they probably affix the handle, before they put the molded foam & fabric inside the case. Rivets are usually pressed into place, and you have no way to back up the inside of the case to thump on the outside, and reset the rivet.
I suppose you could grind off the existing rivet, and attempt to put a screw & nut in its place, but you still have to get between the foam & the case skin.
I suggest you confer with The Wizards @ The MotherShip, unless someone else has some trade secrets they are willing to leak.
Like I said, good luck.

There's no problem prying the foam / plush away from the plastic case. Use a spackle spatula. You can drill out the rivet and put in a bolt with the nut on the outside of the case. They have replacement handles that come with the bolts. It's cheaper than buying a new case. There ... you have a couple of options.

Drill the rivet out with the smallest bit that will do the trick.
Then, either use a Pop-Rivet or a self-tapping sheet metal screw to hold it down.
[I like the pop-rivet idea, cuz you would drill just enough into the foam innards for the pop-rivet head...
and it would be invisible through the shag carpeting...]
While you're there, a drop of metal glue under the bracket-thing wouldn't hurt, just for good measure...

I read this earlier, but I waited five-and-a-half hours for a more professional-sounding solution.
One didn't appear, so here ya' go!

Thank you for the replies. I think I'll use a stainless rivet.

I replaced latches on a Fender case, with split rivets, and after peeling back the lining, I used a hot glue gun to glue it back down, clamped it to dry, and it held great. Hot glue works wonders on lots of things.....JP

Stainless rivets are not as easy to find as aluminum, and they are a real pain to install. Very hard to compress with the tool. Go with aluminum.
