We had the fortune to get great seats for this past Sunday's concert in Washington and it was fantastic!!  I thought I would share a collage of images I took.

Hope you enjoy them,

Myles

No fans of Melissa or the pics... that's disappointing.

Nice pics, Myles. The res on my work computer screen ain't great, but i think I'm counting 4 acoustic O's, along with 3 different electrics? What did she do with the doubleneck? Once again with the resolution, but is that a 6-12 or a mando-12?

You'd probably get a better response from this crowd with 3-4 high-res pics as opposed to the collage... just sayin.

Thanks for the advice, I'll try posting a few favs individually tonight. I didn't realize the resolution would be as low as it was. The origainal collage can be zoomed in and the images are really clear but I guess that it does not translat on here very well.

I don't recall which song she played with the double neck Gibson but she did use both the 12 & 6.

I think the 12 Ovation she used was the same one all night. It was her special edition Adamas model - I had one pic where is could see the label. I could be wrong mind you, I'm no expert and I couldn't see all of her guitars on the racks off to the side.

Here are a couple of the best that show all the guitars she played that night... hope these are easier to see.

Enjoy,

Myles

Nice to see a performer 'showcasing' an Ovation-and a 12-string at that! there is, I believe, a Mellisa Ethridge Signature Model? Whatever, she certainly can play those guitars, that's for sure.

I remember seeing her in the early '80s playing the nightclub circuit in town with only 1 guitar and about 10 people in the whole place. Got a chance to talk with her between sets and she was so focused into her music. She was the reason I started playing an Adamas 12 string!

I think that's a Jerry Jones.

I "misunderestimated" my headstock identification inabilities.  ...but I do dig that color!

"I believe, a Mellisa Ethridge Signature Model?"

You are correct... The label & the little Melissa Ethridge symbol inlaid on the fretboard give that one away :-)

I'd like to see her act, she's got quite an innovative guitar playing style I envy!
