Channel Surfing last night and came across the PalladiaHD channel.
They were showing the 1976 Wings concert .
In the film there is an all ovation acoustic set.

>Missed this concert in 76
>>Found a channel I did not know I even had.
>>>Was able to actually see the performance (vs the arena "experience" if I had gone to the original show).

Yesterday

I've Just Seen a Face

I think the whole concert is on YouTube

Great concert with Linda and Wings. I think the video was improved and  released on DVD this year.

I saw a bit of that last night. The sound was in 5.1 and it was excellent. I missed the acoustic set but saw the O's on stands on the stage. I did see the original show back in the day ... It was an impressive show at the time.

Here is the Rockshow (full concert)

The acoustic set starts at about 0:47:22 and this link might bring you to just before that.

It's just been released on dvd. Do yourself a favour and get it on Blu Ray, it's brilliant.

The Ovations sound very good too. It's as good as an Ovation ad as you could get.

Richardd, yes, I saw this on one of the concert cable channels and it looked great. I went on Amazon to check if there was a Bluray version, and I saw a lot of reviews where many of the Bluray discs are defective for freezing and sound oddities. Bummer! I'll have to wait until the defective stock to be replaced.
