I have been a fan for years and this was the first time I had the opportunity to see him. What an amazing show!! All the members of his band were absolutely fantastic. He is a Master. AJ

He took Peter Green's "Black Magic Woman", and made it into a classic. Abraxis, is still one clasic album from start to finish. Glas to hear he's on the circut.

Sort of like California's answer to the Yardbirds. Everytime I have seen Santana the show has been great, and I always walk away amazed at the totality. Carlos has a very far-reaching and well-funded foundation putting music programs back into public schools.

Perfect summer night, great lawn seats, 'booze in the blender' drinks in the cooler and good food to go along with it. Best damn show I've ever seen. Just phenomenal! Bobbo is right. The totality' of the show and the musicians was unbeatable. Blues

Though this is my current favorite version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BrLEuzVCVQ (I had my wife believing this was him, and she said, "he's gone down hill" Now that was funny."

Cal. and have always had a love for that sound. I recall a summer concert in the park a LONG time ago where he played. Sunshine, cool drinks, frizbees and football, and Santana playing in the background. It doesn't get much better than that.

He was telling the story about how he developed his part in Oye Como Va. I was learning how to play the song and happened upon it. Although I love the look of the PRS guitars, they don't seem to "fit" me. SG's or LP's either. I just picked up a Godin today, actually. Never heard of them before yesterday. jack
