Leo is a master, some of his stuff is hands down genius. I have to look up a couple more of the songs mentioned, I like finding music I never heard. Here's one I have not added to my set lists, as I still don't have it all, but as I slowly meliorate I come closer. He plays this on a 12 string acoustic but this is the version I always liked. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hq0EhIq1-YQ

I think i accidently started it with an off in a recent Pacemaker 12 thread with a post indicating how I hardly ever play my (one and only)12 string, a sunburst Pacemaker, and when i do, its usually the same half a dozen old tunes (Not Stairway!!). I plan to print this out and list the songs and throw it in the Pacemaker case for future reference.

I heard it for the first time tonight on "Crossroads". It's got that Kris Kristoferson feel with the Everly Brothers harmony. Roy O. would have nailed it. Yeah, I'm an ol' fart, 61 years young! Move along, nothing to see here...

Really focussed on the lyrics instead of Jimmy Page's classic riff. You know the riff, its the riff you always hear some 12 year old play at volume 11 on a Les paul at Sam Ash every time you visit. Robert Plant looks older than Kieth Richards, maybe he is.

(yeah, I'm really on ol' fart) I think that was one of the first popular sons to feature a 12 string. I also like to play Danny Boy on a 12. BTW: I'm an Ol'Fart too.

Ya might want to check out the Yardbirds, Beau Brummel, Buffalo Springfield, CSNY, the Hollies, Kinks and Yardbirds. Lotsa good ol' stuff... Day-um, havin' some major musical flashbacks... Let's keep this link going... :D
