| Got off the phone with JB a little while ago..
they're repairing the split brace, and installing the
FD14 endpin preamp, and a thinline pickup, and a vintage battbox on the waist with the screw attachment.
they were going to install one of the trap door boxes on the bottom but were concerned with chipping the Bowl.
should be home next week.

update on my wife:
Char had another cardiac cath yesterday.. the docs say they can do a couple of bypasses, and a couple stents... but are concerned about possible stroke, or shutting her kidneys down completely, or both... and there's about a 1 in 3 chance one or all of those will happen...
looks like we're going to have to manage it medically and with drug therapy only.. we knew her kidneys were going to fail eventually with the pkd, but to push them into failure, and to possibly wind up mentally diminished and less functioning we don't believe is an option for us.
we're still waiting on more test results and consults.
if they do the bypasses, they'll have to crack her chest.. and is much more invasive... duh..
but also with the stents tho not as traumatic, the insertion areas have some heavy placque that could get knocked loose and cause a minor or major stroke.
