I purchased an Ovation 1651, S.N. 283779 in 1982. It was made in Connecticut. I played it strictly as a hobby for a few years. It looks like new. I see no signs of damage or wear on the instrument but the case has superficial scuffs. I has always been in a climate controlled environment. I no longer use it,and would like to sell it. Does anyone have an estimated value that I should put on the guitar?

You will find the best answer in the FAQ section.  I actually extracted it out and made it it's own FAQ item due to demand.
