Hi everyone. I'm from Wales in the UK and have just purchased my first Ovation guitar after many years of longing. I wonder if anyone can give me any background information as I've found it very difficult to research anything about this particular model. It is a Balladeer and the model number is 4771. All I have managed to find out is that it was built in Korea but can find no mention of it either here or on the official Ovation website. Many thanks

The "4" means that it was made in Asia, back in the old days.
I have never heard of a 4771 but I used to own a 4861.
The 4861 was a solid-top super-shallow Balladeer made in Korea.
So I am guessing that your is a mid-depth Korean Balladeer.
