I've been looking at one on ebay, but noticed there are 2 different models, one with 'seven' on the fingerboard and the other on the truss rod cover. (To be honest, I'll get the one on the truss rod cover and change it afterwards!) What are the differences in these models? and I believe they are based on Elite T? Which model exactly are they? Thanks in advance!

They are sorta based on the Elite T.
The MT37 was always a Celebrity.
I am not positive, but I believe that they were making MT37's in Asia before the TX.
I cannot find an image, but I believe that the MT37 sez "Celebrity" on the sticker inside the bowl.

They have Contour Bowls and "X-bracing"... so they might be akin to a TX.

As to the "SEVEN" on the fingerboard. I believe that was the original model.
But only took a few months before anyone that really wanted "SEVEN" on their fingerboard had bought one. Then they came-out with the Truss Rod Cover.

Okay... Somebody buy one of these and remove that TRC and see what is under there.
TX's and Celebrity's all have the Truss-Rod adjustment inside the bowl.
And that TRC doesn't even look like the one on my T's or LX's.

But the MT37 does have a Textured Top with White Binding.
Some people like that binding.

To be fair OMA, they don't need to remove the TRC (especially if it's a glued-on dummy), just look inside for a truss-rod adjustment.

Thanks for your replies. Actually I hadn't noticed about the lack of truss rod cover on the other model ('seven' on the fingerboard). Also, does one look like ebony and the other rosewood to you? I also didn't know about it being the Celebrity model. I just love the look of this guitar (except for the 'seven'!
