Got any really "live" ones? I mean, some guys (gals) are a smooth listen to but CRAZY to watch. Youtube makes this fun. Lately I have discovered two:

Thijs van Leer (keys/vocals) of Focus:

and guitarist Dean Brown AKA Linda Blair:

Well, Joe Cocker for sure, with his arm and hand movements. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RnjWLVyMps (Man, Cocker AND Leon Russell together. Wow)

I always thought Billy Squier was kinda creepy to watch perform, but loved his music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bLHc-yIAPbg

Zorro and the Blue Footballs. A Fayetteville, Arkansas college town staple through the 70's and early 80's. Very few bands could have done what these guys did. A member once showed up onstage wearing nothing but an American flag. Here is a fine example of the band in action. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aq5yYjfYkYw

Rushad Eggleston for sure.

Formerly of Crooked Still (Awesome band!)  and The Wild Band of Snee and Fiddlers 4. Now with Tornado Rider

Here's a taste of his antics, with plenty more on Youtube worth listening too.   TJR

Iv'e been puzzled by Jonathan Richman since the 70s (the singer guy in "Something about Mary" [movie]). He has a fanatical following that insists he is NOT comedy. But that's the only way I can relate to him, especially songs like "Affection". Charming, but definitely bizarre...dancing in a lesbian bar! Always the acoustic guitar troubadour, though
