Location: Long Island, N.Y. | I apologize, I thought the guitar in question I have for sale was a `76 but thanks to musicmishka, it is a 1979. any how, it is up for sale again for $550 and its worth every penny imho. here are some details. Guitar will be shipped insured and packed well.
Vintage 1979 Ovation Legend For Sale:
This Vintage Ovation Legend is in amazing condition from head to toe. No dents, scratches on face, back, neck, fret board, peg head.
The electronics are very smooth and quiet as is the input jack. All parts on the guitar are original. Tuners are smooth and precise and keep the guitar in tune extremely well. Great string articulation and all around great tone! Nice full bass response plugged in and unplugged.
The intonation is perfect.
The top has no finish cracks what so ever. Action is perfect with no buzzing. Frets appear to be in very good condition.
Neck binding is in perfect condition. Fret board and pearl inlay in great condition.
OHSC is in great condition with no scratches, dents or holes. all latches have been lubed as well as hinges. No tears or any major wear on the inside except for the storage compartment door is torn away but still connected.
