Sending my Legend up to the factory this week for a neck reset. UPS, and insured for $2000. I wonder how many '92 Legends they see in such great condition. This guitar is a gem. I'll keep it 'til the cows come home... :)

Yep, it's all packed up and ready to go. I wrapped it up like it was a 'stradivarius'.. :)
They'll get it this week some time, and then send me an estimate. I'm playing Paul's Balladeer in the meantime.

It's been at least 18 years since I sent my 1118 in for a crack repair, was very pleased with the whole thing. Really pretty cheap as I recall, like $75-$100 to refinish the top. Course that's a long time ago. What's the charge for that sort of thing now? I'm not talking major reconstruction but like finish repair, fret and neck work.

My Legend is currently on the way home from Mom after a $400 neck reset, pickup refurb and general cleanup. Should be here Monday. Can't wait to see what she she's like after the makeover.
