Location: SE Michigan | Wow! That's freakin amazing! Even though someone clearly had some help from a computer, it still took imagination to come up with such a thing. I wonder if the actual audio track was recorded by real humans on real stringed instruments?
In any case, I would hate to be the guy who had to restring that thing! |

I own both Animusic DVDs. I know that the animation is driven by MIDI files, and am just guessing that it is composed on a keyboard. Some of the "instruments" look very real. Others are weirdly far-out. Every piece is a treat to watch.
Even though the instrument in "Resonant Chamber" appears to be made of wood, the plucking mechanism has an organic quality that creeps me out. It looks too much like insect legs and I don't like bugs!
