Anyone else spotted this on ebay.
Vintage Ovation Rock Guitar. Very Rare. Prototype?

Methinks tis a cobbler rather than a prototype. Only thing that "says" Ovation is the headstock. My thinking say that this was just not the Ovation way - parts tended to be utilised on different models. Anyway, interested in aan comments for the site.
Also...
Bought an Eclipse [form the US] a couple of years back. Well body and neck anyway. Now that was "crude", Ovation shaped headstock but flat without and moulding. Body appeared to have the correct black coating, correct hole for the bridge. Rebuilt it but not sure it was with the effort and I have never been happy with the feel of the neck. Recently got hold of another. Feels great, plays great and .... the body is clearly larger than my other. Thinking is my first a copy? Any ideas/observations welcome.

I do find it odd that it's listed on ebay UK, but is in Oregon, and will only ship within the US. |

Actually not listed in the UK, on .com but I keep a close eye on the US site.
21 fret neck, is that right for the Storm, Miles? |
