| Every now and then, I turn the "soak" up almost all the way on my Carvin Vintage series amp when playing my Legend. The soak is the preamp overdrive. It gets a nice electric sound doing that. I can't imagine I'm the only one playing an acoustic in electric mode.

| I have a couple electrics, but some times, I just twist the dial up on the acoustic to see what it will do. I have a Boss distortion pedal as well, but I haven't gone that far. The amp is a tube amp and it has a good sound on it's own.

Location: Jet City | I use an overdrive on occasion for a couple songs with the acoustic but just in some parts, like man Who Sold The World (Nirvana style), and a couple of Jack White tunes. |
