| After all the questions and research on Ovation 12 strings, I had finally convinced myself to whip out the credit card and place the order for this Elite 6758 LX that Guitar Center had listed, for $499. Made the phone call. " Sorry. Someone ordered that guitar about an hour ago. There wasn't much interest in it. I thought YOU were the guy. " .
That bites ! I'm a cheap SOB and I like to be sure about things I spend good money on. It worked against me this time.
I was looking forward to this, since it had a very different look than anything else I have and probably would have sounded darn nice.
Anything else out there I should look for ? I don't get the impression I will see many of those, since it looks like they only made it for 1 year.

| Anyone know anything about New Song Music Supply ? They offer factory "seconds" at a good price. No warranty, due to being officially refurbished.

Don't worry, other Ovation 12'ers will show up! |

| As far as sound goes, how would you rate guitars in this price segment ? Which other Ovations should I keep an eye out for, if an Elite LX doesn't reappear ? |

| I have heard good things, but I was leaning toward a 14 fret body. |
