I've got three guitars that I need to move. They are all unique and you can email me for pics.

First up is my OFC slothead Adamas -- marked as 3 of 12. You all know what this is. There is some wear on the top mounting ring under where my arm rests. The rest of the guitar is perfect. It sounds great, looks great, and plays great. It will come with the OFC strap that came with it, and a high end Ovation case (not the original carbon fiber case that came with it. Also all paperwork. Price -- $5000 shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. for free.

Second is my 87 Collectors. This guitar is unique as well as beautiful. When it came to me in 2005 it had a NOS neck put on it as the original neck warped. Since then, it was knocked over and the top split. My decision was to make it perfect or just to repair it. I went with perfection and had a whole new body put on it. The wood is beautiful and I got the last original epaulets for the 87C that was at the factory. But the icing on the cake was all new electronics. It's got an OP Pro in it which means that it's now compatible (size-wise) with all the new preamps that Ovation might come out with. It also has the new microsphere bowl which is lighter and vibrates better. A great guitar, maybe a little better than the original. Price -- $1300 shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. for free. Hardshell case included.

Last is another unique piece -- A Glen Campbell 12 string. But again, it's not original. It originally came to me as an old beat up 1969 GC 12. It was a gift. But it didn't sound or play all that well and I didn't really like it that much. About 4 years ago I decided to do something about it. It went back to the factory for a whole new body. Adirondack spruce top, new microsphere bowl (shiny), and a rosette from a Custom Legend (wasn't my idea, but it does look good). The electronics are from a FD14 (no controls on the body). Also, I upgraded the tuners to the late 70's style. And best of all, Glen Campbell's name silk screened on the headstock! The result is a guitar that looks wonderful and sounds even better. I had a U681 12 string in the house for awhile and along with my Adamas I 12, I did a sound comparison with a couple of buddies. There was no "better" sound, just slightly different sounds. Price -- $1300 shipped anywhere in the continental U.S. for free. Hardshell case included.

Email me for photos. I might try to throw some up tonight or in the morning. These are great guitars. They deserve good homes.

Wow! Selling OFC-I serial No. 3? You must've thought long and hard about this. Is this only the second occasion where an OFC-I has changed hands from its original owner?

I don't want to sell it. I've got some tax problems from 2010 that have bitten me in the butt. Even tho' it's not my "go to" guitar, it's a really great instrument. I hate to see it go....

If anybody wants to just give me $10k because they're nice, I could live with that and not sell the guitars......

Paul, if you took the little "k" off, I think I could cover you.

Tough times...good luck with your sale.
