Location: N.E. Pa | Hello all! Been a LONG time since my last post. Crazy busy, but found time to acquire a Celeb bass, and am looking for other owners here to chime in with their thoughts on these. Also, since I'm not a big fan of bronze bass strings, would it be safe to put Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flat strings on it? They're VERY low tension. Soundwise, if I gig it, it would always be amplified anyway, so low natural volume isn't much of a concern. Basically, this will be my "porch bass" for nice evenings with a Guinness under the tree. Oh, it's great to be back too! |
