This may be a bit out of place but hang with me ...

We all love our roundbacks and as you know Alpep has in the past offered up some special models for OFC members like the stunning Koa 12 fret and 14 fret guitars, the Adamas OFC slothead, the OFC 2080 Cateye. etc. Truly some of the finest guitars anywhere !!!

You may not know that Alpep is also a Takamine dealer and he is now offering up a very special and very limited run of Takamine Forum Guitar that should be out of this world. As a PSA I post this here in case you might be a closet wood backed guitar fan and you may want to contact Al and learn more about this. Or check out this link to the details on the Takamine Forum.

Takamine Forum Guitar

Al can fill you in on the details but roughly ...
- NEX (grand orchestra) size cutaway
- Adirondak spruce top
- Blackwood back and sides
- Maple wood bindings
- Ebony bridge and fretboard with snowflake inlays
- Open gear gold vintage tuners
- Ebony pins and Bone nut/saddle
- 1.75 inch nut width
- Inlaid T headstock logo
- Palenthetic pickup and TDL preamp

Should be a nice one. I'm already signed up for mine.

Al wouldn't have put it together if it wasn't going to be spectacular. Thanks for the heads up Dave! For anyone looking for an excellent custom, very limited run wood guitar, you'll have a hard time beating this.

I wish I had the beans for it. I'd be on it like white on rice.
