Location: Scotland | Really? If that's true then someone in New Hartford forgot to take their meds. That guitar makes no sense from an aesthetic, structural or acoustic standpoint. Basic helmholtz theory shows that doubling the size of the soundhole(s) given the same volume of air will significantly raise the fundamenal frequency of the guitar. In layman's terms that guitar will sound like crap. If it's a factory experiment, it should never have been allowed into the public domain.
