Hi there. I have a adamas with a resin-impregnated walnut fretboard And i was just wondering how to care for it. I have some discoloration in certain areas and would like to get rid of it. The fret board is very light except for around the 12th fret were it is very dark. Any suggestions?

I'm curious if you ask Ovation what specific resin they used, you might find a corresponding oil product that would help bring back the natural shading.

Location: 6 String Ranch		it was a clear polimer of some sort.

Just steel wool it a bit and put on some fingerrboard oil, boiled lindseed oil or butchers wax or something like that. That's what I used on the 1547 I just got.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains		Just my personal preference . . . I like the distinctive multi-colored walnut fretboards. Some are more dynamic than others, particularly the original slotheads.
