I love this site because I know I'm going to get the answer I need. I own 3 capos, 2 Kysers and a Dunlop trigger. I really like the Kysers on my Taylor but prefer the Dunlop on my Adamas. I want to buy another Dunlop for the Adamas in gold to match my tuners (vain), but when I went to the Bay I noticed that there were two trigger models - one curved and one straight. I own a w591, I'm sure the same neck as the w597. What model do I buy - straight or curved? My eyes aren't great at 57. Help. I don't want to waste even $16!

Sell the Taylor and buy one of each.

No waste at all. In fact, you're way ahead of the game. ;)

My guess would be that you want the curved one.

Most steel string guitars have a curved fretboard. The flat,(straight), capos are for nylon stringed guitars.

I just got rid of a gold Kyser curved capo,(sent it with the Ovation Book).

I agree with Weaser, 86 the Taylor. :D
