When I lived in San Diego, I bought a year's pass to the zoo. I used to go into the children's petting zoo and play with one of the baby elephants. We got to know each other pretty well. Whenever it was time to leave, she'd walk to the gate with me, and then wrap her trunk around my waist to give me a hug. I believe elephants are the smartest, and also most emotional of animals. This brought a big smile to my heart. Thanks!
