If you read the interview down the page here, you'll see the guitar described as a 'six and twelve string Ovation/Adamas acoustic':

See the outie epaulets?
Too many time I have read multiple sound-holes and epaulets referred to as "Adamas-style".
I might add that all the OVATION Ovation Double-necks that I've seen have the 12 on the bottom.
But I could be mistaken...  |

Location: London, UK | The photo's too small, but it doesn't look like Davey J's guitar has the Celebrity-shape end of fretboard. Or possibly the pearl bridge pins.
Odd thing is that many photos of this album cover on the web have him playing an O mando...

Then I'd have everything that I would need to do "Losing My Religion" on the street corner!
Except maybe enough Hands! :p |

I want the invisible guitar strap he's using to support its weight. |

Davey Johnstone is a longtime Ovation artist, and has been seen with lots of different very nice O's. I imagine he would be playing things the factory got into his hands, which I doubt were Celebs. |

None of these doubles shown are grafite though. We made a double nylon for Pat Martino. |
