Location: Huntington Beach | I just picked up a 1990 1768 Elite in fantastic shape - will post pictures this weekend - and need to change the strings. Can anyone with a similar model post their string recommendations? It has OP24 and deep bowl. Thanks :) |

Location: Nashville TN. | Adamas 1818 light gauge alway sounded best to my ear. Plus they are not expensive.
Some people like various coated string. |

Location: SoCal | Go with lights (.12), regardless of brand. Mediums don't bring out the best of multihole guitars.
Do a search on strings and you'll find tons of threads discussing the pros and cons of various string brands..... |
