I just picked up a 1990 1768 Elite in fantastic shape - will post pictures this weekend - and need to change the strings. Can anyone with a similar model post their string recommendations? It has OP24 and deep bowl. Thanks :)

Adamas 1818 light gauge alway sounded best to my ear. Plus they are not expensive.

Some people like various coated string.

Go with lights (.12), regardless of brand. Mediums don't bring out the best of multihole guitars.

Do a search on strings and you'll find tons of threads discussing the pros and cons of various string brands.....
