Wabbit refferenced his volume intense performance a O'Kanes and I noticed that when he was playing & singing in the "classroom" that his vocals were very quiet. The way I figure it is that a guy like Davis spends 99% of time amped up while us unplugged guys have to sing to be heard over any number of booming Ovations.Member # 3146 posted April 10, 2008 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The only volume issues I had were at O'Kanes, but Davis starts out turned up to 11 and pretty much stays there all night...

It's just interesting that he can get the vocal leverage under a song without blowing his lungs out. Maybe that's why he can go all night. And I also think that Bill & Davis go together like peas & carrots.

But like Brad, I noticed when he was playing in the classroom I had to strain to hear him over the others (even when someone gave him a Tak to play instead of his Taylor). I could see he clearly new exactly what he was doing, but I couldn't hear him. I figured it was simply because he was used to being plugged in, and his playing technique was reflecting that.
