I have one of these and like it a lot:

Adjustable seat height, adjustable foot peg height, and there's also an adjustable back rest you can get for it.

Not a PC thing, must be a Vince thing...
It is a cool chair. Now people can say, "I don't like them cause my butt keeps slipping off of it when I play my guitar..."

I've used the Roc N Soc LSGX for years and it has been both extremely comfortable and has worked flawlessly.

I really like being able to swivel and adjust the height.

I also got the 29" TR Tower model.

Man,I forgot about the glider. We had one of those when our daughter was born....best guitar playing chair ever! (why'd we get rid of it?)

I just use my drum throne. Roc n Soc. looks like a giant bicycle seat with the gas lift to set the height. Very comfortable.

Our glider has arms. Not good for guitar. I prefer the imitation Lay-Z-Boy. It had arms, but they got so flat that they aren't in the way.

Are we comparing stool samples?

It is actually an Operator's chair and would cost several hundred dollars - Goodwill, $9.99!

I am going to have an amish guy down the road make me a custom rustic stool out of steam-bent hickory. He makes some really nice swivel bar stools (funny the amish making "bar" :) stools huh?), and said he would make any adjustments I wanted to make it gutar friendly.(i.e.,back, footrail height, seat and back wood type, etc.)

I'll post a picture when I can.
