I've read that the Viper necks are glued and bolted on.
Is it east to unglue the neck to change necks?

There was a piece of paper glue on both sides used between the neck and body.

Done that way so that they can be easily separated but maintaining a solid joint.

Piece of cake... unbolt it and give it a little smack of encouragement.

Hey Jim,

Not sure what "paper glue" is.
And does it need to be replaced?

They soaked a 1" by 3/4" piece of newspaper in (Elmers) white glue and stuck it in there before bolting up. It makes a bond to transfer the sound energy better.

When I reglue mine I put in a scrpture. You can also use two fortune cookie fortunes!
