I was just comparing my Viper and Viper III.
The three toggles on the VIII are shaped the same but shorter than the V. The three stick up 1/2" from the scratchplate and 3/4" on the V.
Is this common?

Yes, the Viper and Viper 3 use different switches, not only in terms of their dimensions but also their function (On/On/On on the 2 of Off/On on the 3)

Thanks for the quick response.
Similar question, V has two-screw tuners with a round ovation insert and 6 sided nut on front. Are these original?
